I still haven’t got a title

Coo! There’s a lot of stuff going on here.

I was very excited to hear about this new place which looks to have struck a chord with many other disenchanted Opera fans.

Have to say I think all the features are bit overwhelming & I’m struggling with lag on a lot of pages at the moment, but it has that all important Opera vibe that a lot of us fell in love with.

Like many people I’m going to be using Opera 12.16 for as long as possible & I hope this place will prove to be a good place to pick up some future proofing tips & bounce ideas off of other knowledgeable users.

I’ve heard a lot of people talk about jumping ship to FF or Chrome on the release of Not Opera 15+. I don’t understand this, I think 12.16 will be relevant for many years to come.

So far all I’ve done is save a copy of the 12.16 installer just in case I need it on a new computer & today I’ve downloaded Dragonfly & set it up to run from my local machine.

Is there anything that you’ve done to prepare your install of Opera for the future web? If so I’d like to advocate using the futureproofing tag.
